Working closely with our clients we can provide a range of technical documentation to support a project from the outset to completion. We have experience with the creation and implementation of the following types of documentation:
The User Requirement Specification (URS), describes what the user requires from the project. User requirement specifications are written in the early stage of planning and development. The URS will precisely and clearly outline what the user expects from the process or system.
The Functional Design Specification (FDS), shows what functions are to be provided to meet the client's requirements including full descriptions of the technical processes, stating what resources will be required, and providing the agreed basis of the system design.
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), is conducted to determine and document the equipment hardware and software operates according to its specification, covering functional, fault management, communications, support systems, and interface requirements. The FAT demonstrates that the hardware and/or software work according to the original specification.
The Site Acceptance Test (SAT), enables the client to document a series of verifications to ensure that their requirements are met and that the system is working as originally specified.
